1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Together Safe you agree to these terms. Together Safe is a neighborhood intelligence platform providing safety information and community tools for residents in the US and Canada. ALL PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 4.

2. Service Description

Together Safe provides real-time safety alerts, AI-powered neighborhood insights, community reporting tools, and emergency guidance. Information is provided for awareness purposes only and does not replace official emergency services.

3. Emergency Disclaimer

Together Safe is NOT an emergency service and is NOT a substitute for official emergency management systems. IN ANY EMERGENCY: Call 911 (US) or 911 (Canada) immediately. Do not rely solely on Together Safe during life-threatening situations. EVACUATION ROUTING DISCLAIMER: Evacuation routes suggested by Together Safe are advisory guidance only. Route suggestions are based on automated analysis of threat positions and may not account for actual road conditions, closures, or rapidly changing emergency situations. Together Safe evacuation routing has NOT been verified by emergency management professionals. ALWAYS follow evacuation orders and routing instructions from official sources including: Environment Canada, NOAA/NWS, provincial and state emergency management agencies, local police and fire departments, and official emergency broadcasts. Together Safe AI early warning predictions are supplemental information only and do NOT constitute official emergency alerts. AI predictions may be inaccurate. Never make life-safety decisions based solely on AI predictions from Together Safe. Together Safe monitoring data may be delayed up to 10 minutes from official sources. During fast-moving emergencies this delay may be significant. Always verify conditions with official sources.

4. Subscriptions, Billing and Cancellation

Together Safe offers monthly and annual subscription plans. FREE TRIAL: Paid plans include a 30-day free trial. You will not be charged until your trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge. CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Billing. Together Safe does not offer refunds. MONTHLY PLANS: Upon cancellation, you retain full access to your plan features until the end of your current billing period. Your account and data will be deleted 30 days after your subscription ends unless you reactivate. ANNUAL PLANS: Upon cancellation, you retain full access to your plan features until the end of your current annual subscription period. No partial refunds are issued for unused months on annual plans. Your account and data will be deleted 30 days after your annual subscription ends unless you reactivate. ACCOUNT DELETION: If you delete your account, your access ends immediately. Data is permanently deleted within 30 days and cannot be recovered. PLAN CHANGES: You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.

5. User Content

You are responsible for alerts and reports you submit. Submitting false or misleading safety information is prohibited and may result in account suspension. Together Safe reserves the right to remove any content that violates community guidelines.

6. Privacy

Your address and location data is used only to provide relevant local alerts. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

7. Limitation of Liability

TOGETHER SAFE IS AN INFORMATIONAL TOOL ONLY. IT IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE AND DOES NOT REPLACE 911 OR OFFICIAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Together Safe, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: (a) Your use of or reliance on any alert, notification, routing suggestion, or safety guidance provided by the platform; (b) Any delay, inaccuracy, incompleteness, or interruption in safety information; (c) Any decision made during an emergency based on information from the platform; (d) Failure of push notifications or alerts to reach your device. EVACUATION ROUTING: Together Safe shall not be liable for any harm, injury, death, property damage, or loss of any kind arising from the use of or reliance on Together Safe evacuation routing, shelter suggestions, threat position data, or any other emergency guidance provided by the platform. Evacuation routing is provided as a supplemental tool only. Users assume all risk associated with evacuation decisions. Alert information is sourced from third-party government feeds, community reports, and AI analysis. Together Safe does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any alert. Always follow instructions from official emergency services including Environment Canada, NOAA, local police, and fire departments. IN NO EVENT SHALL TOGETHER SAFE'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Accuracy Disclaimer

Safety alerts marked as "AI Predicted" or "Community Report" are generated by artificial intelligence or unverified user reports and have not been independently verified by Together Safe. These should be treated as early indicators only. Official alerts sourced from Environment Canada, NOAA, and other government agencies are provided as-is from those sources. Together Safe is not responsible for errors or omissions in government-sourced data.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Brunswick, Canada. If you are a US resident, you agree that Canadian law governs this agreement.

11. Safety Session & SOS Messaging

SOS alerts and missed-check-in notifications sent by Together Safe are transmitted via third-party SMS carriers. Delivery of these messages is NOT guaranteed. Factors including carrier outages, network congestion, incorrect phone numbers, and recipient device settings may prevent delivery. SOS location data is based on your device's GPS and may be inaccurate or unavailable indoors or in poor signal areas. EMERGENCY CONTACTS: By adding emergency contacts, you represent that you have obtained their permission to receive automated SMS alerts from Together Safe. Together Safe is not responsible for any carrier fees or psychological distress caused to recipients by the delivery of emergency notifications.
